This was inspired by and was in response to the whole "krishna invading hardcore" thing, most notably perhaps conversations/debates I had with Norm Crucified (Norm Arenas). Who is a good guy. Who eventually came out as gay. Which is really cool.
lyrics
On the need to need
I think I do
And I'll never see how that's wrong
Try to deny humanity – Silly human
Wake up and your whole life will be gone
Another human, looking towards the heavens
So above and aloof with self-centered "purity"
On the need to hold, to touch
I'll please guilty
But your courts emit no judgements to which I'll abide
The folly you use to divide falls flat
Give no reason to pretend or to hide
Reaching for the stars
Another goddamn human
Such a shame
Do books define your feelings?
On the need to be
Existence
So often such a trying task
But when desire falls victim
To repression
How long will this "virtue" last
Trying to prolong life - Wishful thinking
So above aloof
Just another human
Having seen them 3 times in the 80s, (including opening for the Bad Brains at the Living Room) this was a must get. Still holds up. They were already evolving into their own sound by now, kind of like R.I.'s answer to Dagnasty. t0rqreturn2019
